Health and Safety: From red tape to fresh air

 

With a strong culture of engagement, this Health & Safety team were re-writing a historical narrative of bureaucracy around the function. We supported the team with personality profiling and workshops to increase self-awareness and develop their relationship-driven approach. The team had become a powerful influence across the business, reducing management costs by pre-empting issues.

With a team values assessment, the team were able to strengthen their cultural identity. The assessment brought their values to the surface and revealed the crucial factors that made them so successful. A shared set of learning values and few limiting factors such as blame or information hoarding, created a high engagement culture. With increased awareness they could keep engaged in productive activities, rather than get dragged down by demotivating issues. With this they continued to build their impact across the business.
